This new CRE50 fridge/freezer from Dometic uses the same energy efficient electronic controls as the CRX50, but it has been redesigned to give fresh look and to be an alternative to the Vitrifrigo and Indelb fridges.

This had previously only been available to OEM manufacturers and converters, but Dometic have now released it for retail sales.

Dometic fridges have long been the popular choice for Marine, Camper Van and Motorhomes, with the CRX50 being a favourite, due to it's quality build and with the electronic controls that let you remove the freezer box and then set it to either as a fridge or a freezer.

Also see the additional surrounds to give a flush, or standard fitting of the fridge into a cabinet. Please note there is not a specific CRE50 frame, but the CRX50 frames still fit these.

This is also an alternative again to the CRX50, which has been a popular replacement for the 3 way fridges in the VW T3 T25 Westfalia conversions.

Description:

Capacity 48L (including 4.4L ice box). Ice box can be removed to convert to larder style fridge or freezer. 12V or 24V DC. Power consumption approx 1-1.5Ah per hour depending on ambient conditions.

New electronic compressor control reduces power consumption by up to 25% due to intelligent compressor and fan speed control. Soft touch controls with 5 temperature settings down to -15 degrees C. Stainless steel fittings. Brushed steel effect door panel. Optional standard or flush mount frame kits available.
